Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join a high-performing team in Napier. This position suits someone who wants to work in a supportive, stable, and safety-focused environment with access to quality training and long-term career growth.

What You Will Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems.
• Make sure all work is completed to industry requirements and customer expectations.
• Keep accurate records of labour, materials, and completed job details.
• Discuss system performance and repair needs with clients.
• Look for opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and expand service offerings.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in the fire industry.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Clear communication skills and a practical, positive approach.

Benefits and Compensation

• Pay range of $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus, subject to terms and conditions.
