Job Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient, and positive customer service to guests, clients, and team members, adapting to various customer needs.
• Ensure all assigned areas, including ancillary and departmental spaces and corridors, are kept clean, tidy, and sanitary, complying with safety and health standards and departmental preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assess situations to determine and apply appropriate cleaning methods as per training guidelines.
• Operate housekeeping tools and cleaning solutions safely and effectively under supervision.
• Perform disinfection and sterilization of equipment and supplies using approved germicides and sterilizing processes.
• Follow universal precautions diligently for disposal of trash and biohazard materials.
• Maintain stocked cleaning carts with properly labeled chemicals and functional equipment.
• Foster professional relationships and maintain respectful conduct at all times.
• Support enhancements in departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
• Commit to continuous professional development by adhering to department training requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Effective communication skills to engage with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to evolving demands.
• The role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking or standing.
• Usage of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
