Cleaning Operative

Role Overview

As a Cleaning Operative, your primary task is to uphold exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout various premises to foster a secure and pleasant atmosphere. You will report directly to the Site Manager and ensure all designated areas are maintained effectively and efficiently.

Key Duties

• Carry out general cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing frequently touched surfaces, cleaning toilets, descaling, and window cleaning.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces thoroughly.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials in an appropriate manner.
• Restock supplies including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels regularly.
• Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment correctly.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including compliance with COSHH standards.
• Promptly communicate any maintenance or repair requirements to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure tasks are performed efficiently.
• Perform routine checks to confirm all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
