UI/UX Designer

Position Overview

Jaisda is seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team on a part-time remote basis, working primarily from Tysons Corner, VA. The candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging and user-centric interfaces for both web and mobile platforms by collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to gather and assess user needs.
• Visualize design concepts through storyboards, process diagrams, and sitemaps.
• Create user interface components including menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Design navigation elements such as page buttons and search fields.
• Produce UI mockups and interactive prototypes that demonstrate website functionality and aesthetics.
• Generate original graphic content like images, sketches, and charts.
• Present design drafts to internal teams and primary stakeholders for feedback.
• Identify and resolve usability and responsiveness issues in the user experience.
• Modify layouts based on users’ input and testing results.
• Maintain adherence to branding guidelines regarding typography, color schemes, and imagery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a UI/UX design capacity or comparable role.
• A portfolio showcasing previous design work.
• Proficiency with wireframing tools such as Figma, Wireframe.cc, and InVision.
• Up-to-date skills in design software including Adobe Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
