Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team remotely on a part-time basis, located in Tysons Corner, VA. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices to support cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality software products efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily stand-ups, organize sprint planning sessions, and conduct retrospectives to ensure productive team collaboration.
- Collaborate with product owners to clarify requirements and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
- Support the team in meeting project timelines and budget constraints while delivering quality software solutions.
- Identify obstacles hindering team progress and work actively to remove them.
- Provide coaching to team members on Agile frameworks and promote best practices.
- Monitor and communicate team performance and progress metrics.
- Partner with other Scrum Masters to enhance Agile methodologies throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
- Possess a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Minimum of three years experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for team facilitation.
- Demonstrated success in delivering software projects within set deadlines and budgets.
- Experience with collaborating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
