Guild Garage Group is hiring a Senior Accountant to support month-end close and financial reporting for assigned business units. This role calls for a professional who communicates clearly, thinks analytically, solves problems effectively, and is eager to improve processes. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

Complete monthly accounting tasks such as journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, prepaid expense tracking, and gross margin review.
Prepare, review, and analyze general ledger reconciliations throughout the close cycle.
Support the creation of consolidated financial statements with detailed financial analysis.
Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable state and local requirements, including sales tax.
Analyze accounting and financial data to spot trends and support estimates such as accruals and reserves.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and act as a financial partner in reporting results.
Assist with audits by providing support materials, PBC schedules, and explanations as requested.
Take on other duties assigned by the Corporate Finance Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
Solid understanding of US GAAP.
Strong command of the MS Office suite.
Proven experience handling month-end close in a multi-entity environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Experience working with an ERP platform such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or a comparable system.

Any commission-based compensation figures mentioned are only potential ranges and are not guaranteed or offered as a fixed salary.

Pay range: USD 80,000 to USD 90,000.
