Guild Garage Group is hiring a Senior Accountant to support month-end close and financial reporting for assigned business units. Key responsibilities

  • Complete monthly accounting tasks such as journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, prepaid expense tracking, and gross margin review.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze general ledger reconciliations throughout the close cycle.
  • Support the creation of consolidated financial statements with detailed financial analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable state and local requirements, including sales tax.
  • Analyze accounting and financial data to spot trends and support estimates such as accruals and reserves.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and act as a financial partner in reporting results.
  • Assist with audits by providing support materials, PBC schedules, and explanations as requested.
  • Take on other duties assigned by the Corporate Finance Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Strong command of the MS Office suite.
  • Proven experience handling month-end close in a multi-entity environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working with an ERP platform such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or a comparable system.
