Role overview
Abdul Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Beverage Company (AQS-PEPSI) is hiring a Pre Seller for its operations in Al Mudhaylif, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on field sales, distribution growth, customer engagement, and execution of in-market merchandising and visibility activities.
Sales and distribution
- Meet the sales objectives for every assigned SKU across the allocated route or territory.
- Broaden product reach by improving availability and visibility across channels such as TT, ET, SSV, and wholesale.
- Develop the customer base by bringing in new accounts and increasing numeric coverage in the assigned area.
- Keep stock issues under control by reducing out-of-stock situations and expiry risks while maintaining FIFO at each outlet.
Field execution
- Organize daily visits and follow the approved route or call cycle to cover the market effectively.
- Stay consistently active in the field to support compliance with core trade standards.
- Carry out merchandising and execution tasks such as stock rotation, POSM placement, signage, cooler positioning, and handling promotional materials.
- Create accurate pre-sell orders for next-day delivery, including the correct SKUs, quantities, and any applicable promotions.
Operations and reporting
- Manage order-taking, delivery follow-up, and cash collection or temporary credit handling in accordance with company credit rules.
- Track performance indicators and support initiatives aimed at resolving operational issues.
- Observe competitor pricing, promotions, and market activity, then share relevant updates with the line manager.
Customer and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain durable relationships with customers such as retailers, food outlets, and other assigned accounts.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and delivery drivers to ensure efficient operations and correct truck loading.
- Support full rollout of company programs while strengthening brand visibility in the market.
Requirements
- A university degree in any field is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in the beverage, bottling, or FMCG sector is needed.
- Basic English skills are expected, and Arabic will be the working language.
- Good computer skills are necessary; experience with CRM tools or SAP will be an added advantage.
- A valid light vehicle driving licence is mandatory.
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, follow set routes, and comply with company procedures and policies.
