Role Overview
As a Major Account Manager, you will focus on managing approximately 20 key customers and prospects within assigned territories, driving sales opportunities, and strengthening relationships by offering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. This is a vital position that bridges customer needs with tailored technology proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and close new business opportunities while expanding and renewing existing accounts.
- Acquire new strategic customers and grow revenue within current accounts.
- Establish and nurture senior executive level relationships to gain account access.
- Develop and implement multi-year strategic account plans.
- Lead coordination of complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.
- Manage contract and pricing negotiations effectively.
- Prioritize activities across a large portfolio of clients efficiently.
- Utilize Check Point’s internal tools to track account status, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
- Work collaboratively with virtual teams including specialists and sales engineers.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of account management experience, including at least 2 years in cybersecurity sales.
- Strong grasp of the sales cycle and demonstrated successful sales track record.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in managing client relationships.
- Preferable deep knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Performance Metrics
- New Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) bookings from both new logos and account expansions.
- High renewal rates, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), win rate percentage, number of new logo wins, and average deal size.
