Food Service Supervisor

Overview

This position requires a high school diploma and between 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience. The role is fully on-site, with no remote work options, located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to achieve planned work schedules
• Oversee and coordinate the efforts of food preparation and portioning staff
• Provide training to employees regarding their job responsibilities, sanitary practices, and safety measures
• Calculate the quantity of ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation
• Ensure that both food quality and customer service standards are consistently met
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally
• Keep accurate records relating to inventory, equipment maintenance, sales, and waste
• Generate and deliver necessary reports to management
• Create appropriate work schedules for staff

Supervision

Manage a team of 5 to 10 employees.
