Main Duties
- Manage all aspects of sourcing, planning, quoting, scheduling, and ordering input materials.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding project timelines and deadlines, ensuring all commitments are met.
- Conduct supplier assessment audits.
- Provide prompt and accurate quotes to relevant teams.
- Track daily material shortages and develop action plans to address them.
- Serve as the primary liaison for suppliers.
- Drive company profitability by implementing initiatives and projects that reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Support internal customers as needed.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a comparable procurement role.
- Strong analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, and strategic planning skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with Epicor being advantageous.
- Excellent communication abilities paired with sound business judgment.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
