About the Role
Join King Living on a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Sydney Design & Support Centre to support accurate, timely payroll management across multiple global regions including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, the UK, and South East Asia during a phase of organizational growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across various countries and pay cycles, ensuring all employees receive accurate and punctual compensation.
- Assist with data cleansing, validation, and system preparations as the company enhances its payroll and HR technologies.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and promptly handle employee inquiries with professionalism and care.
- Support payroll reconciliations and reporting efforts, including month-end, year-end, and audits, collaborating with Finance teams.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in full-cycle payroll processing and preferably exposure to multi-national or multi-entity environments. Attention to detail, precision, and a strong sense of ownership are critical for maintaining flawless payroll operations.
- Practical experience in Australian payroll with knowledge of Fair Work, modern awards, superannuation, and PAYG.
- Experience in New Zealand payroll is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud payroll systems, particularly Employment Hero, preferred.
- Experience with payroll data cleansing, validation, or migration projects; SAP or SAP SuccessFactors exposure is valued.
- Exceptional reconciliation, numerical abilities, and advanced skills in Excel.
- High level of confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail when handling sensitive employee information.
- Ability to manage tight pay deadlines across different time zones with strong ownership.
- Desirable experience handling payroll across South East Asia, North America, and the UK.
- Payroll certifications such as Australian Payroll Association accreditation are a plus.
