Role overview
This is a full-time onsite opportunity in Dubai, UAE for an experienced Joinery Draughtsman / Estimator within the joinery and interior fit-out sector. The role calls for someone who can turn project requirements into buildable drawings, precise material assessments, and reliable cost estimates for production and execution.
What you will do
- Create detailed shop drawings and execution-ready drawings for joinery work.
- Develop cutting sheets and cutting lists to support manufacturing.
- Work out material quantities with a high level of accuracy.
- Prepare BOQs along with cost estimates for projects.
- Liaise with design, production, and project teams to keep information aligned.
- Make sure drawings are practical, accurate, and suitable for fabrication.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of UAE-based experience in joinery shop drawings and material specifications.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; both are mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience producing joinery shop drawings, cutting sheets, and quantity take-offs.
- Good understanding of joinery manufacturing methods, materials, and hardware.
- Able to work on your own with strong attention to detail.
