Joinery Draughtsman / Estimator

Role overview

This is a full-time onsite opportunity in Dubai, UAE for an experienced Joinery Draughtsman / Estimator within the joinery and interior fit-out sector. The role calls for someone who can turn project requirements into buildable drawings, precise material assessments, and reliable cost estimates for production and execution.

What you will do

• Create detailed shop drawings and execution-ready drawings for joinery work.
• Develop cutting sheets and cutting lists to support manufacturing.
• Work out material quantities with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare BOQs along with cost estimates for projects.
• Liaise with design, production, and project teams to keep information aligned.
• Make sure drawings are practical, accurate, and suitable for fabrication.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of UAE-based experience in joinery shop drawings and material specifications.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; both are mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience producing joinery shop drawings, cutting sheets, and quantity take-offs.
• Good understanding of joinery manufacturing methods, materials, and hardware.
• Able to work on your own with strong attention to detail.

This opening is intended only for experienced Joinery Draughtsmen / Estimators. Candidates without direct hands-on experience in execution drawings, cutting sheets, and joinery material quantity calculations are requested not to apply.
