About KidStrong

KidStrong is dedicated to empowering children to succeed in life by fostering strength, confidence, and fun. We are looking for a General Manager to lead our West Calgary center, inspire the team, and create an environment where kids, coaches, and families can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily center operations, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency
  • Understand and manage financial metrics and key performance indicators thoroughly
  • Act as a positive community face, building strong relationships with families and staff
  • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow and avoid burnout
  • Work a flexible schedule including four weekdays (two evenings) and one weekend shift
  • Drive membership sales by collaborating with your team to reach targets and fill classes
  • Engage leads by phone and text and represent KidStrong at local events
  • Recruit, train, and develop coaches using KidStrong’s resources
  • Communicate clearly using Slack and email to connect with HQ and the franchise team
  • Coach at least two classes weekly, delivering the curriculum and fostering energy and engagement
  • Monitor attendance and progress through the KidStrong Coaches App
  • Achieve Coach Certification via KidStrong HQ training programs
  • Supervise the Membership Director, Assistant GM, and Lead Coach
  • Coordinate with area developers and headquarters staff

  • Experience coaching children aged 15 months to 11 years
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage parents and guardians effectively
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms
