Job Overview
The Document Controller plays a key role in supporting project teams by managing and organizing project documents, ensuring proper tracking and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain project documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements such as BCA and ISO.
- Register, track, and distribute all incoming and outgoing documents, drawings, and correspondence related to projects.
- Assist project groups in preparing, formatting, and submitting various reports and documentation.
- Ensure accurate filing systems, manage version control, and facilitate efficient document retrieval via company systems.
- Prepare document issue packages, update tracking registers, and maintain distribution lists.
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to company filing standards.
- Good knowledge of document tracking protocols, naming conventions, and version control practices.
- Ability to handle deadlines effectively while supporting multiple project teams simultaneously.
- Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and respond to the dynamic needs of various teams.
