About the Role
Join a prestigious Fortune Global 500 company where innovation meets rewarding culture and talented colleagues. UPS seeks individuals driven by skill and passion to contribute in a dynamic logistics environment. This position is part of the MNX division, specializing in the secure and timely delivery of high-value global shipments across various sectors including critical logistics and cold chain.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders and plan shipment routing effectively.
- Provide timely responses to customer questions regarding shipment tracking, quotations, and booking confirmations.
- Handle import and export documentation for shipments within Singapore and the wider APAC region.
- Utilize MNX Transportation Management System (TMS) and CargoWise (C1) for shipment processing and management.
- Ensure smooth daily operations by coordinating shipments and managing operational requirements.
- Complete full airfreight documentation cycle for Singapore’s import and export shipments.
- Carry out general administrative tasks such as data entry and document organization.
- Engage in company initiatives and undertake additional tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum one year of experience in freight forwarding preferred; comprehensive training available for newcomers.
- Experience in critical logistics, biopharmaceutical, medical devices, cold chain, or clinical trial logistics is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with CargoWise or ParcelLogic TMS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Availability for rotating shifts, noting that rest days may vary from weekends.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
