Business Development Executive – Field Sales & Merchant Onboarding

Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic and target-oriented Business Development Executives to join our on-ground sales team, focusing on merchant onboarding across designated areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily field visits to 10 to 15 merchants within assigned territories to present and promote our marketplace platform.
• Engage directly with merchant owners and key decision-makers to communicate our value proposition and secure partnership agreements.
• Gather and verify essential documents such as legal licenses (FSSAI), GST/PAN, bank account details, product menus, and signed contracts.
• Collaborate with internal operations staff to ensure accurate setup of merchant profiles, including menus, product listings, and pricing on the system.
• Achieve and maintain weekly and monthly merchant onboarding targets as determined by management.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

• Education: Completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) or any graduate degree in any field.
• Experience: Ranges from freshers up to 2 years in field sales, merchant acquisition, or door-to-door sales roles.
• Advantageous prior work includes associations with Swiggy, Zomato, Paytm QR, Magicpin, DotPe, FMCG sales, or related sectors.
• Possession of a two-wheeler (bike or scooter) along with a valid driving license is mandatory.
• Languages: Proficient in Hindi and Marathi, with a basic understanding of English.
• Qualities sought include high energy, excellent negotiation capabilities, professional conduct in the field, and a strong dedication to achieving targets.

Compensation and Benefits

• Fixed monthly salary ranging between ₹12,000 and ₹15,000 depending on experience.
• A fuel and travel allowance of ₹2,000 per month to support field activities.
• Performance-based incentives providing uncapped bonuses, potentially earning over ₹8,000 additional monthly for each successfully onboarded merchant.
• Potential for rapid career advancement into roles such as City Business Development Manager and Operations Lead as the company expands.

Other Details

This opportunity is field-based, with a working schedule of six days per week, adhering to standard field visit timings. The job location is primarily in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai.
