About the Role

We are seeking a Manual/Functional QA Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This position requires working onsite at our office five days a week from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing on complex, new scenarios and features to ensure quality standards.
Review and assess bugs and tasks reported by offshore testers prior to developer assignment.
Track and follow up on critical and blocking issues promptly.
Identify and file significant tasks for direct assignment to developers, collaborating closely with QA leads and the QA team.
Monitor incremental changes to ensure adequate test coverage.
Deliver comprehensive weekly reports detailing executed tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience within software testing roles.
Good understanding of the software testing life cycle, including planning, designing test cases, and executing tests.
Hands-on experience with mobile application testing.
Skilled in performing end-to-end sanity, regression, smoke, and feature testing.
Adept at analyzing test outcomes and bug reports.
Experience coordinating in offshore-onshore team environments.
Strong knowledge of defect management processes.
