About the Role
We are seeking a Manual/Functional QA Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This position requires working onsite at our office five days a week from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on complex, new scenarios and features to ensure quality standards.
- Review and assess bugs and tasks reported by offshore testers prior to developer assignment.
- Track and follow up on critical and blocking issues promptly.
- Identify and file significant tasks for direct assignment to developers, collaborating closely with QA leads and the QA team.
- Monitor incremental changes to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Deliver comprehensive weekly reports detailing executed tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience within software testing roles.
- Good understanding of the software testing life cycle, including planning, designing test cases, and executing tests.
- Hands-on experience with mobile application testing.
- Skilled in performing end-to-end sanity, regression, smoke, and feature testing.
- Adept at analyzing test outcomes and bug reports.
- Experience coordinating in offshore-onshore team environments.
- Strong knowledge of defect management processes.
