Job description
Overview
This role requires fluency in English and demands the work to be performed entirely on-site in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed by the employer. The position involves functioning within a business or industrial setting.
Education and Experience
- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent diploma or certificate program lasting between three months and less than one year.
- Between two to three years of relevant professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and review newly implemented administrative processes to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Set priorities for work assignments and guarantee adherence to procedures and deadlines.
- Conduct general administrative tasks for the establishment.
- Manage policies and procedures concerning records release in accordance with government access and privacy legislation.
- Coordinate and organize office-related services including accommodation, relocation support, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Support preparation of operating budgets and maintain control over inventory and budgeting.
- Collect data and prepare regular and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Supervise office administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Plan and monitor budgets and expenditures effectively.
- Oversee and coordinate teams including technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative personnel, and engineers.
