Job Overview
This role requires working on-site at the physical location in Truro, Nova Scotia. The position involves direct responsibility for food service operations and team management within the establishment.
Language and Education
- Fluency in English is necessary.
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
Candidates should have between 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in food service or supervisory roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to organize work schedules effectively.
- Place orders for food items and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Train employees regarding their roles, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
- Recruit new members of the food service team.
- Oversee quality control to ensure food and service standards are met consistently.
- Prepare budget plans and estimate associated costs.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain detailed records related to inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Generate and submit required reports periodically.
- Set and manage employee shift schedules.
