Zonal Training Manager - HDFC Branch Banking East

Overview

This role is dedicated to providing training to Relationship Officers (ROs) and HDFC Bank staff with the aim to enhance their professional knowledge and skills. The training focus includes induction and periodic skill development interventions primarily in recruitment and sales to boost productivity within the territory. The position is part of the Human Resources function within the HDFC Branch Banking department, reporting to the Zone Training Head East.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct induction programs and skill enhancement workshops for ROs and bank staff.
• Continuously develop and upgrade the recruitment and selling capabilities of the branch workforce.
• Implement training interventions that positively affect territorial productivity.
• Manage and coordinate training managers across multiple branch locations including Patna, Siliguri, Lucknow, Kolkata, and others under the East zone.

Organizational Relationships

The position reports to the Zone Training Head East and collaborates with peers and multiple training managers across various locations within the bank. It involves significant internal communication and coordination with HR Learning & Development teams, sales training personnel, and branch leadership.
