Role Overview

This unique position offers an opportunity to engage deeply in venture capital investment activities alongside advancing how a modern VC firm incorporates AI-driven automation into its workflows. You will be involved throughout the investment lifecycle—from sourcing startups and conducting detailed analyses to deal closure—while also leading initiatives to optimize operational processes through automation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the entire investment process: sourcing prospects, preliminary analyses, and deal execution.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis on startups, contributing entrepreneurial insights.
• Prepare comprehensive investment documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Independently initiate and manage projects, becoming the expert on specific themes.
• Maintain transparent reporting for management and deliver engaging client documentation.
• Oversee and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence by curating content aligned with investment themes and portfolio developments, including regular posting and performance tracking.
• Assess current workflows continuously, identifying opportunities for AI and automation enhancements.
• Design, test, and maintain automated workflows using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Langdock.
• Integrate APIs and MCP servers to connect various internal tools and data sources effectively.
• Propose and prototype new automation solutions to minimize manual effort and boost team productivity.
• Document automated workflows comprehensively to facilitate adoption and continuous improvement by the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Outstanding academic record with a strong interest in startups, technology, and artificial intelligence.
• Practical experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, Langdock, or similar).
• Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, including independent troubleshooting capabilities.
• Exposure to AI agent deployment is highly advantageous.
• Experience in dynamic environments such as consulting, private equity, venture capital, or startups supported by VC funding enhances candidacy.
• Excellent analytical capabilities paired with pragmatic, solution-focused thinking.
• Team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with eagerness to assume ownership and responsibility from the outset.
• Fluency in German and English is essential.
