Role Overview

Joining as a Working Student within the Snke Data team, you will contribute to bridging clinical expertise with digital health data systems, assisting the preparation, annotation, and structuring of clinical datasets foundational for sophisticated analytics and interoperability in medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, curating, and annotating medical and clinical data collections.
  • Work collaboratively with data engineers to maintain data model accuracy and consistency.
  • Help define protocols for data gathering and metadata organization using FHIR standards.
  • Conduct research and apply medical terminologies like SNOMED CT, ICD, and LOINC for standardized data mapping.
  • Contribute to documentation, reporting, and maintaining quality assurance processes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary meetings with data scientists and software developers.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

  • Current enrollment in Medicine, Medical Informatics, Health Sciences, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical workflows and medical data frameworks.
  • Interest in digital health, data interoperability, and AI applications in medicine.
  • Methodical, meticulous approach to tasks.
  • Willingness to learn data standards such as FHIR and DICOM; training will be provided.
  • Proficient communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous.
