Job Summary
We seek a proficient Workday Finance Functional Consultant with in-depth expertise in Record to Report (R2R) or Credit to Cash (C2C) cycles and strong hands-on capability in Professional Services Automation (PSA). This position involves guiding clients through Workday Finance and PSA solution design, configuration, and implementation to optimize financial and project management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to collect and interpret complex financial and project accounting business requirements.
- Offer strategic insights to enhance financial operations and resource management by leveraging Workday Finance and PSA modules.
- Design and implement configurations for Workday Finance, including PSA components such as Projects, Project Billing, Project Tracking, and core modules like General Ledger.
- Structure project accounting to integrate with core financial reporting, facilitating smooth revenue recognition, billing processes, and utilization tracking.
- Serve as the primary liaison to clients throughout implementation ensuring transparent and steady communication.
- Collaborate with internal and cross-team stakeholders to fulfill project objectives, timelines, and output quality.
- Prepare detailed documentation encompassing configuration guidelines, training content, and user manuals.
- Lead end-user training focused on project-to-cash workflows and deliver support post-deployment for optimal adoption.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and configuring Workday PSA modules including Projects and Project Billing.
- Possession of at least one active Workday Finance core certification, such as Workday Financials Core, is required.
- Strong foundational knowledge of financial processes, project accounting practices, and Workday Finance modules including General Ledger and Financial Reporting.
- Proven skill in configuring complex business processes, customizing organizational setups, and developing advanced financial reports.
