Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Finance Functional Consultant specializing in Professional Services Automation (PSA) to provide expert configuration, guidance, and implementation support for Workday Finance solutions. The role involves collaborating with clients to analyze financial and project-related business processes, tailoring Workday configurations to meet client needs, and ensuring smooth system rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather and interpret detailed requirements for financial operations and project accounting.
• Offer strategic recommendations to optimize financial and resource management using Workday Finance and PSA modules.
• Design and configure Workday Finance components with emphasis on PSA functionalities including Projects, Project Billing, and Tracking, integrated with core modules like General Ledger.
• Ensure project accounting frameworks are aligned with financial reporting for streamlined revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and utilization tracking.
• Serve as the main client liaison during implementation, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project timelines and deliverables with internal teams.
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation, configuration manuals, training resources, and user guides to support client needs.
• Deliver focused training on project-to-cash workflows for end-users and provide ongoing post-deployment assistance to facilitate adoption.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years of direct, hands-on experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and configuring Workday PSA components such as Projects and Project Billing.
• Must hold at least one active Workday Finance core certification (e.g., Workday Financials Core).
• A comprehensive understanding of financial processes, project accounting, and best practices within Workday Finance, including General Ledger and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in configuring sophisticated business processes, custom organizations, and advanced financial reports within Workday.
