The role suits someone who is proactive, collaborative, and confident working in a geographically dispersed environment. You will contribute to practical safety solutions, help teams meet their obligations, and play a direct part in improving workplace wellbeing.
What you will do
- Assist leaders and staff in meeting legal work health and safety responsibilities.
- Help design, roll out, and maintain workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Lead and coordinate risk assessments, then drive appropriate control measures.

- Review safety information and use findings to recommend improvements.
- Organise training activities and keep training records accurate and current.
- Work closely with regional teams to support ongoing compliance with safety requirements.

This position is based in Mackay, Rockhampton, or Townsville and supports 15 work units across a large region.
