Job description

Role Overview

An opportunity is open for a Washroom Service Technician to join the Dublin branch and support customer sites across the Drogheda area. The position suits someone who likes being on the road, working independently, and delivering a strong customer experience. No previous experience is needed because full industry training is provided.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Starting pay is €29,450 per year, with an extra allowance of €1,500.
  • Typical earnings are expected to reach about €32,500 annually through bonus and commission arrangements.
  • You will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, uniform, and access to RI Rewards.
  • A relocation support package of up to £5,000 may be available if you are moving from more than two hours away.
  • This is a permanent, full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of moving up to 48 hours later at a higher salary.
  • Full training is included to help you meet customer needs and build confidence in the role.

What You Will Do

In this job, you will travel between customer locations to maintain their washroom equipment and consumables. The work involves handling items such as feminine hygiene units, nappy bins, air fresheners, soap dispensers, and floor mats.

  • Collect, load, and unload washroom units and floor mats, so physical fitness is important.
  • Keep the vehicle in safe working order and drive responsibly in line with company driving standards.
  • Represent the business professionally and deliver consistently good customer service at every stop.

What We Are Looking For

  • A full Irish driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points, or another valid licence that allows you to drive.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to adjust working patterns when business needs change.
  • The ability to take initiative and work with a positive, can-do mindset.
  • A sense of pride in doing your work well.
  • You may need to complete a DBS check depending on the role.

Benefits and Extras

  • Extra earning potential through regular bonus and commission schemes.
  • Access to a company vehicle and fuel card.
  • A performance-linked salary grading structure that supports career growth.
  • Option to join a private healthcare scheme.
  • Company pension enrolment.
  • Overtime opportunities to increase earnings where customer demand requires it.
  • Leads commission is available for sharing sales opportunities, even though this is not a sales-focused role.
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme support for you, your family, and friends.
  • Extra long-service leave entitlement of five additional days after five years with the company.
  • Refer a friend and earn up to £1,000 if they join the business.

Application Guidance

The employer encourages applicants to submit a genuine application that reflects their own interest and understanding of the role, rather than relying only on automated assistance.
