Role overview
Rentokil Pest Control is hiring an energetic and committed Rookie Pest Control Technician to cover clients in Westmeath. This is a permanent, full-time onsite role based in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland.
The position offers a starting salary of €30,300 per year, paid monthly. Full training will be provided, so prior pest control experience is not essential.
What you will do
- Maintain and service an assigned client portfolio to a consistently high standard.
- Guide customers with practical, professional advice on pest control matters.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports for every service visit so clients understand the actions taken on their site.
- Work toward delivering a complete solution for each customer’s pest control needs.
- Represent the company professionally by appearing neat, tidy, and well presented at all times.
What we are looking for
Applicants should bring strong communication skills, good organisation, and a positive attitude. A genuine interest in pest control is important, along with comfort working around pests and at heights.
Training and support
You do not need to be a pest control specialist before joining, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Requirements
- A full, clean driving licence.
- Interest in pest control and no phobias relating to pests or heights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A confident, friendly approach that helps build customer relationships and spot opportunities for new business.
