Job description
Overview
This role is based in Lidl’s Mullingar warehouse and focuses on supporting efficient product movement across the supply chain. The position suits someone who enjoys a busy environment, wants variety in their day, and is motivated by clear targets and continuous learning.
You will be working across a range of product categories, helping ensure stores receive the goods they need. The operation runs around the clock, and a 3-week rota is provided to help employees plan their time and maintain a healthier work-life balance. Training is included to help you settle in quickly.
Key duties
- Work flexible shifts as part of a 24-hour warehouse operation with a 3-week roster.
- Pick, move, and load both grocery and non-food items.
- Receive, store, pack, and dispatch stock to high quality and safety standards.
- Carry out tasks in both room-temperature and temperature-controlled areas.
- Use a voice-guided headset system to locate items and complete picks for pallets.
- Work toward daily performance goals and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
What you should bring
- Confidence using manual handling equipment, including order picker forklifts.
- A flexible, practical, and positive approach to work.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, though not essential.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Comfort working at pace in a busy operational setting.
Pay and benefits
The company offers a transparent pay structure designed to support equal pay across roles. The starting hourly rate is €15.40, increasing to €17.90 per hour after 3 years, with additional premium rates for certain hours and days.

Pay progression
- Year 1: Basic rate €15.40, €19.25 unsocial hours, €23.10 overtime/Sundays, €30.80 bank holidays.
- Year 2: Basic rate €16.20, €20.25 unsocial hours, €24.30 overtime/Sundays, €32.40 bank holidays.
- Year 3: Basic rate €16.90, €21.13 unsocial hours, €25.35 overtime/Sundays, €33.80 bank holidays.
- Year 4: Basic rate €17.90, €22.38 unsocial hours, €26.85 overtime/Sundays, €35.80 bank holidays.
