Job description

Role overview

This role sits within a fast-moving warehouse operation that helps keep store supply running smoothly. The focus is on accurate picking, handling, and movement of goods across a wide range of product types, all while supporting a strong customer journey through reliable stock flow.

The position suits someone who enjoys an active working day, is keen to learn, and can thrive in a high-energy environment. You will be expected to work to clear performance expectations and receive a structured training plan to help you settle in quickly.

Key duties

  • Work flexible shifts across a warehouse that operates 24/7, following a 3-week rota designed to support better work-life balance.
  • Pick, move, and load both food and non-food items.
  • Make sure goods are received, stored, packed, and transported to a high standard.
  • Carry out work in both normal ambient areas and temperature-controlled sections.
  • In selections work, pick products onto pallets based on store demand.
  • Use a voice-guided headset system to receive instructions on where to go and what to pick.
  • Meet structured daily performance targets and complete assigned tasks each shift.

What we are looking for

  • Comfort using manual handling equipment such as an order picker forklift.
  • A positive, adaptable approach to work.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, though not essential.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Comfort working in a busy, fast-paced setting.
