Role Overview
The Warehouse Associate will undertake various routine, repetitive physical and administrative duties within the production warehouse. Tasks will include receiving, putting away, storing, staging, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and finished products. Additional responsibilities include label control, handling unit management, as well as lot and serial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform outbound shipment packing for collection by forwarders, conduct stock counting, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
- Put away raw materials and parts to assigned locations and execute related transactions on the ERP system; carry out stock counts and housekeeping duties.
- Issue parts and replenish raw materials or parts in the Production Supply Area, logging transactions in the ERP system; perform stock counts and housekeeping.
- Receive and count raw materials, ensuring updates are logged into the ERP system within 24 hours of supplier acceptance; maintain housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education of 'N' or 'O' Level certificate or ITE equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
- Experience operating both motorized and non-motorized warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of radio frequency equipment usage is an advantage.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
- Basic skills in mathematics, problem solving, and computer usage.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds, and ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
- A cooperative and positive attitude as a team player.
