Job description
About the Position
Kyo Yakiniku, located at 73 Glebe Point Road, Glebe NSW, is seeking dependable and amiable waitstaff to join their team. This position offers shifts 5 to 6 days a week with a dynamic working environment.
Key Duties
- Serving food and beverages to customers with professionalism.
- Cleaning tables and maintaining the floor area for a welcoming atmosphere.
- Bar operations with full training provided to handle drink preparation and service.
- Managing cash transactions and operating the POS system accurately.
Work Hours
- Weekdays: Shifts start at either 4:30 PM or 6:00 PM and finish at 10:00 PM.
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): Lunch shifts run from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- Must possess RSA certification; if not currently held, employees can complete a one-day RSA course after hiring.
- A positive attitude and a strong commitment to work.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-moving, busy setting.
- Intermediate English language skills sufficient for communication.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate during weekdays is $25 per hour and $31 per hour for weekends initially; includes annual leave and 12% superannuation for the first month.
- From the second month onward, pay increases to $26 per hour on weekdays and $32 per hour on weekends, subject to experience.
- Option for cash-in-hand payments is available.
