Role overview

As a Waitress, you will support the business, guests, and colleagues through attentive, polite, and timely service. You will act as a hospitality ambassador for the hotel and help ensure every visitor enjoys a high-quality dining experience. The Food & Beverage team plays a key role in shaping guest satisfaction through creativity, variety, and consistently professional service.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with team members across departments to ensure service is delivered quickly and operations run smoothly.
  • Follow all hotel policies and standard operating procedures related to guest service, operations, grooming, and discipline.
  • Check with the supervisor before leaving the station or floor for any reason.
  • Stay informed about the hotel’s facilities and services so guest questions can be answered accurately.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following all required safety procedures.
  • Carry out reasonable instructions from managers or supervisors, including tasks outside regular duties, to support guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.
  • Keep the assigned station clean, organized, and up to standard at all times.
  • Build strong knowledge of the menu and service offerings.
  • Learn and use the point-of-sale system correctly and follow all associated procedures.
  • Observe strict security measures when entering guest rooms to protect guest privacy.
  • Take part in training sessions to improve skills and enhance the guest experience.
  • Check hallways for trays after room service deliveries.
  • Clear and break down trays in the dish area, paying attention to condiments and other leftover items.
  • Handle any other duties needed to keep operations running efficiently.
