Role Overview

The Mixologist will support the hotel’s beverage operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring service runs smoothly for guests, the business, and team members. This position is both technical and creative, with room to design distinctive beverage options that highlight local ingredients and traditions. The role is based at Darrah Hotel, The Amaala Destination, and reports to the Restaurant Manager within the Food and Beverage department.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver beverage service that meets the company’s standards for quality, presentation, hygiene, and professionalism.
• Represent the property and Saudi hospitality with confidence, courtesy, and a polished guest-facing manner.
• Maintain a high level of personal grooming, service quality, cleanliness, and order in assigned work areas.
• Follow the Beverage Department’s operating procedures and look for practical ways to improve them.
• Set up the bar at the start of service, ensuring ice, glassware, juices, and garnishes are ready for use.
• Handle drink orders in the proper sequence, confirm the correct number of drinks, and complete billing accurately and without delay.
• Prepare mocktails according to the standard beverage manual and use the prescribed measurements consistently.
• Protect the security of the bar area and remain in position unless properly relieved by another colleague.
• Support closing and cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, clearing bottles and cans, wiping rails and counters, and removing melting ice from bins.
• Carry out any other duties needed to keep operations running efficiently.
