Role overview
This position is part of the food and beverage team at EDITION in Saudi Arabia. The role is centered on shaping a guest experience that feels distinctive and memorable, not just handling food and drink service. The focus is on attentive hospitality, smooth coordination, and maintaining the overall quality of the guest journey.
What you will do
- Set up tables and service areas to meet operational and presentation standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other team members to keep service flowing smoothly.
- Serve guests and support them throughout their dining experience.
- Keep work, storage, and service areas clean and organized.
- Ensure routine service tasks become part of a seamless guest experience.
Working conditions and physical demands
The role requires active, hands-on work throughout the shift. Team members are expected to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, move across sloped and sometimes uneven or slippery surfaces, review menu information carefully, and handle a range of physical tasks. These include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing under 50 pounds without assistance, as well as reaching high areas, bending, crouching, twisting, and kneeling. Candidates must also be able to complete these duties and any other reasonable tasks requested to help maintain guest satisfaction and hotel operations.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent GED qualification is preferred.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience is expected.
- No prior supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is needed for this position.
