F&B Service Expert

About the Role

As an F&B Service Expert, your focus is not just serving meals, but shaping a memorable guest experience from start to finish. You will take the lead in delivering service moments that enhance the stay, whether that means setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen, interacting with guests, serving food and beverages, or keeping service and storage areas clean and organized.

Key Duties

You will help turn routine service tasks into part of the overall guest experience and support smooth daily hotel operations.

• Prepare dining tables and service areas.
• Communicate with the kitchen to coordinate orders and service flow.
• Engage with guests and provide attentive food and beverage service.
• Clean workspaces and storage areas as needed.
• Carry out additional reasonable tasks assigned to support guest satisfaction and hotel operations.

Work Standards and Physical Expectations

Success in this role depends on consistently maintaining a safe workspace, following company procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and manner of communication.

The job involves being active throughout the shift, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, moving across sloped or uneven surfaces, and sometimes working on slippery floors. You will also need to review menus carefully and handle a variety of physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing under 50 pounds without assistance, reaching overhead, crouching, bending, twisting, and kneeling.

Desired Profile

The ideal candidate has a basic hotel or restaurant service background and is comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior supervisory experience is not required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or an equivalent GED credential.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• No supervisor experience required.
• No license or certification needed.
