Job description

Role Overview

We are supporting a leading global asset management firm in hiring a VP / SVP-level Institutional Sales professional to help expand its business across Southeast Asia. This is a client-facing position centered on cultivating and strengthening relationships with institutional investors.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients across Singapore and the wider Southeast Asia region.
  • Support business growth and revenue generation by distributing fixed income, macro, and multi-asset investment solutions.
  • Discuss portfolio construction, asset allocation, and relevant investment offerings with clients.
  • Work with internal investment specialists to communicate market perspectives, strategy ideas, and tailored solutions.
  • Develop new business opportunities with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance firms, central banks, and other official institutions.
  • Take ownership of RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, and mandate implementation.
  • Keep up with market movements so you can clearly explain macro themes and investment views to clients.

Ideal Background

The right candidate will bring deep experience in institutional sales or client coverage within asset management, along with established connections in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia. A strong grasp of asset allocation, fixed income markets, and alternative strategies is essential, as is a history of generating revenue and winning new clients. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are also important.
