Overview
We are collaborating with a top-tier international asset management firm to recruit a Vice President in Institutional Sales. This client-facing role centers on cultivating and maintaining relationships with key institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance firms, and central banks across Southeast Asia, primarily based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, nurture, and grow relationships with institutional clients throughout Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region.
- Champion business development efforts to expand revenue streams by distributing fixed income, macroeconomic, and multi-asset investment strategies.
- Engage actively with clients regarding portfolio solutions, asset allocation, and tailored investment products.
- Collaborate closely with in-house investment teams to convey market trends, strategic perspectives, and bespoke client solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, central banks, and other official institutions.
- Lead Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), client presentations, and oversee mandate fulfillment processes.
- Remain informed on market developments to proficiently communicate macroeconomic and investment themes.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years' experience in institutional sales or client coverage within the asset management sector.
- Strong, established network among institutional investors in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia.
- In-depth knowledge of asset allocation methodologies, fixed income markets, and alternative investment strategies.
- Demonstrated success in revenue growth and client acquisition efforts.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
