Job description

Company Profile

This firm delivers professional consulting and end-to-end solutions for the energy industry. Its work centers on helping corporate clients with long-range energy planning, project delivery improvement, and stronger operating performance.

In response to digital transformation across the sector, the company is also advancing technology-led business upgrades. It explores emerging tools such as distributed ledger technology for energy data handling and collaborative work processes, with the goal of improving data reliability, visibility, and cross-regional coordination.

By combining digital capability with deep sector knowledge, the organization aims to create highly efficient energy management and service frameworks that help clients maintain stable operations and keep improving in a fast-changing market.

Role Overview

The Vice President of Product Operations and Strategy will own the company’s product strategy and operating model. This position connects strategic planning, growth operations, revenue generation, and internal collaboration to ensure the product portfolio supports business expansion and customer growth from planning through execution.

Strategic Planning

You will define medium- and long-term product direction at the company level, translate market signals and user demand into product decisions, and prioritize multiple product lines so strategic goals are turned into clear execution plans.

Product Operations Systems

This role calls for building a strong product operations framework, including KPIs such as DAU, retention, conversion, and LTV. You will shape lifecycle management across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization, while also improving iteration loops and experimentation practices such as A/B testing.

Growth and Monetization

You will develop growth plans that support both audience expansion and revenue improvement. Responsibilities include refining monetization channels such as subscriptions, advertising, and value-added services, while also identifying and launching new growth opportunities and business lines.

Cross-functional Leadership

The role requires close partnership with engineering, marketing, sales, and data teams to move initiatives from concept to launch. You will coordinate resources for large product programs, improve decision-making and communication structures, and contribute to broader company strategy and resource allocation.

Team Leadership and Organization Building

You will lead teams working across product operations, product strategy, and growth. The role also includes shaping an effective operating structure, building future leadership capability, and setting up performance management systems that strengthen execution and innovation.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. The role requires 20+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or strategic planning, along with 8–15+ years in middle-to-senior leadership; VP- or Director-level management experience is preferred. Experience with complex product ecosystems or platform products is an advantage. Strong strategic judgment, commercial understanding, familiarity with internet growth models, solid analytics skills, strong product sense, and a track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives are essential.

Core Competency Model

  • Ability to build product strategy and structure product architecture
  • Capability to drive growth and improve monetization
  • Data-led decision-making approach
  • Strong team leadership and organizational management skills
  • Experience coordinating across functions and aligning resources
  • Skill in simplifying complex problems and driving execution
