Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Voice Actor fluent in Australian English to participate in cloning the voice of a customer experience (CX) AI agent. This contract role offers a pay rate of $50 per hour and requires a weekly commitment of 5 to 10 hours, with complete remote work flexibility from anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality voice samples from varied scripts encompassing conversational, narrative, and instructional styles.
- Deliver speech that is clear, natural, and expressive, exercising excellent control over tone, pacing, and enunciation.
- Ensure consistency in voice, accent, and delivery throughout multiple recording sessions.
- Adhere strictly to recording standards concerning environment, microphone setup, and audio file specifications.
- Produce several takes demonstrating variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when instructed.
Essential Qualifications
- Native English speaker with a genuine Australian accent currently residing in Australia.
- Proven background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- Possession of a professional or near-professional level recording environment.
- Strong abilities in intonation, diction, and emotional expression.
- Capability to deliver script content faithfully while maintaining a natural flow.
- Availability to commit reliably for 5-10 hours weekly during the contract period.
- Important: Your voice recording may be used to clone the client's CX AI agent.
Preferred Experience
- Previous work involving text-to-speech (TTS), audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Skill in delivering multiple vocal styles.
