Job Overview
We are searching for Australian English-speaking voice actors to perform multi-character dialogue recordings. This project involves voicing several fictional characters, each with distinct styles, accents, and personalities. The recordings are solely for internal research and development, specifically for training Text-to-Speech models, and will not be used commercially or publicly.
Project Details
- Produce 3 hours of dialogue audio featuring conversations between two or more characters.
- Modify voice, tone, and accent to match individual character descriptions.
- Maintain clear differentiation between the various characters.
- Submit unprocessed, high-quality WAV files according to project specifications.
- Complete up to two rounds of corrections if necessary due to talent errors.
Required Skills
- Expertise in voice acting.
- Ability to create diverse character voices.
- Fluency in Australian English.
Audition and Submission Guidelines
- Provide an audition using one of the sample scripts specified (selection is based on the first letter of your first name; A-K use one of the first three scripts, L-Z use one of the latter three).
- Submit audio recordings in 24-bit, 48 kHz, mono, unprocessed WAV format.
- Audio quality must have at least a -60 dB noise floor with minimal background disturbances.
- No use of plugins, compression, or post-processing is allowed.
- Only human recordings will be accepted; AI-generated audio is prohibited.
- Deliver the final 3-hour recording within one week after selection.
Recording Reminders
- Include necessary emotions as outlined in the script.
- Read the entire script, including narrator parts.
- Avoid speaking too close to the microphone to ensure sound quality.
