Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Linguist specialized in English UK variants to join our team. This position involves assessing spoken English to verify native-level fluency and genuine regional accents, ensuring candidates align with specific linguistic and dialectical criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and shortlist candidates by analyzing their spoken English proficiency, with focus on UK English standards.
• Verify native fluency and authentic regional accents through the examination of audio files, live interviews, or recorded samples.
• Differentiate closely related English dialects and detect speech featuring non-native or mixed accents.
• Utilize expertise in phonetics, phonology, prosody, and regional linguistic differences to inform evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and clear documentation of assessment results following predefined protocols.
• Work collaboratively with recruitment, operations, and quality assurance teams to uphold linguistic standards.

Required Qualifications

• Native or near-native command of English, with in-depth knowledge of UK accents.
• Proven skill in recognizing regional English UK dialects through detailed speech analysis.
• Excellent auditory perception and attention to phonetic nuances.
• Strong written communication capabilities for precise record-keeping.
