Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Visa Counselor based in Mohali district who will operate in a hybrid model with flexibility for remote work. The successful candidate will support clients throughout the visa and immigration journey, including eligibility evaluation, documentation briefing, and explaining procedures and timelines. Core duties involve consulting with clients, gathering and verifying documents, preparing and reviewing visa applications, and liaising with both internal teams and external agencies as necessary. Maintaining precise records, monitoring application progress, and providing clients with timely updates are integral parts of this role. The Visa Counselor will also keep abreast of immigration regulations and deliver empathetic, clear assistance, contributing to the ongoing refinement of counseling services.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing documents, forms, and client files.
• Basic understanding of visa and immigration processes, coupled with eagerness to stay updated on policy changes.
• Familiarity with common office software and digital platforms used for data management and online submissions.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid workplace while handling multiple client cases.
• Experience in immigration consulting, overseas education counseling, or related sectors is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree in any field; additional certifications in immigration, international relations, or counseling are beneficial.
