About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Virtual Relationship Manager to join a leading private bank's team located in Chennai (T. Nagar). The ideal candidate will manage customer relationships via telephone and digital platforms, focusing on acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones while upholding compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client interactions predominantly through phone and digital communication channels.
- Identify and onboard new customers while maintaining strong relationships with current clientele.
- Promote and sell a diverse portfolio of banking products including Current & Savings Accounts (CASA), Fixed Deposits, Insurance plans, Mutual Funds, Credit Cards, and other retail banking services.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Assess customers' financial requirements and suggest appropriate banking solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service with prompt follow-ups.
- Ensure full compliance with KYC norms and internal banking policies.
- Adhere strictly to maintaining compliance standards and anti-fraud practices.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking, relationship management, telecalling, inside sales, or retail banking sales.
- Solid understanding of CASA and other retail banking products.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Results-driven with a strong passion for achieving sales targets.
- Past experience in outbound and inbound banking sales or telecalling roles is highly desirable.
- Competent in handling customer queries and resolving objections effectively.
- Familiarity with KYC verification processes and compliance regulations.
Additional Information
- Location: Chennai (T. Nagar) - working onsite is required.
- Salary: Up to ₹30,000 monthly gross plus incentives.
- Qualification: Any graduate degree is acceptable.
