Role Overview
This position supports home health operations by coordinating schedules for a clinical team and making sure patient visits are arranged accurately, on time, and in line with policy and care needs.

Employment Details
This is a full-time role with benefits eligibility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and the role is based in an office environment. The position requires 40 hours per week.
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $20.80 to $31.20 per hour.
Key Duties
The scheduler will manage visit assignments and scheduling workflow to help maintain compliant, well-organized patient care delivery.
- Handle scheduling requests from systems and clinicians promptly so referrals and ongoing care are booked according to orders, policy, and patient needs.
- Use the scheduling platform, communication tools, and reporting features to coordinate patient visits accurately and without delay.
- Check additional patient information systems so referral details are complete and available in the electronic medical record when needed.
- Share timely updates with leadership when productivity issues, staffing gaps, or delayed clinician communication/documentation create barriers.
- Review assigned reports to confirm scheduling compliance and flag any appointments scheduled outside regulatory or agency policy limits.
- Deliver administrative support to designated clinical team(s) and help maintain operational and financial performance.
- Complete scheduling tasks based on physician orders, clinician direction, and required authorizations.
Physical Requirements
This job is performed in an office setting and involves extended periods of sitting and computer-based work.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates should have at least 1 year of progressively responsible secretarial or administrative experience, with 3 years preferred.
Preferred Skills
Strong organization, clear verbal and written communication, the ability to manage multiple priorities, customer service orientation, and solid computer and typing skills are preferred.
