Job description

Department and Work Schedule

This role belongs to the 12501 Regional Non Enterprise Corporate - Operations department. It is a full-time, benefits-eligible position requiring 40 hours per week with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Compensation

The pay range is between $75.40 and $120.65 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year strategic plan for Hospitality and Support Services aligned with clinical, financial, compliance, and expansion goals across the division.
  • Lead operational management of support services spanning multiple sites, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency in service delivery.
  • Translate broad enterprise strategies and programs into actionable divisional plans with sequencing and sustainability.
  • Manage the division's operating rhythm by monitoring KPIs, governance processes, and escalation protocols to promote accountability across facility and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Coordinate among clinical, operational, financial, HR, quality, infection prevention, supply chain, and IT teams to resolve priorities and eliminate obstacles, often without direct managerial authority.
  • Standardize core processes to minimize performance disparities while accommodating site-specific customization where appropriate.
  • Assume accountability for divisional performance metrics including quality, patient and teammate experience, safety, responsiveness, and productivity, leading intervention efforts as needed.
  • Collaborate with Finance to oversee budgets, monitor productivity, plan resources, create business cases, and achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvements that boost throughput, reduce turnaround times, and enhance service reliability.
  • Supervise vendor and service partner performance within the division, working alongside enterprise contract managers, handling escalations and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure readiness for regulatory audits and manage risk mitigation efforts for support services across sites.
  • Mentor and develop site leaders through direct and indirect supervision to build leadership depth, engagement, and succession.
  • Represent the division in corporate councils, advocating for divisional needs and ensuring alignment with enterprise directives.

Licensure and Education

  • Certified Public Accountant license issued by a State Board of Accountancy is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of managerial experience within a large healthcare organization, including demonstrated leadership of large, matrixed teams.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven capability to lead sizable teams effectively.
  • Strong skills in people management, communication (both oral and written), and team building.
  • High proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, scheduling, and accounting spreadsheets.
  • Expertise in navigating complex, matrix organizational structures.
  • Deep knowledge of facility operations and vendor management practices.

  • Position requires travel, exposing the incumbent to various weather and road conditions.
  • Capability to operate all necessary job-related equipment.
