Job description
About the Role
DraftKings is weaving AI into the way it works today and into the products and decisions it is building for the future. The company is focused on using new technology to improve customer experiences, make operations more efficient, and open up new opportunities. This role sits within that forward-looking environment.
As a VIP Host, you will cultivate strong relationships with DraftKings’ most active and valuable Players, creating tailored experiences that strengthen loyalty and support long-term engagement. You will act as a dependable contact for these players, using market awareness, player insights, and relationship management skills to understand needs and build meaningful connections. Positioned at the intersection of customer experience, retention, and growth, this role helps shape a premium VIP program while also feeding player feedback back into the business to improve products and the overall experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop genuine, trusted relationships with high-value Players to support engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth.
- Own the player relationship end to end through proactive outreach, customized communication, and prompt resolution of concerns.
- Stay current on market developments, promotions, product updates, and platform improvements so recommendations remain timely and relevant.
- Drive reactivation efforts by spotting opportunities to reconnect with inactive Players and encourage renewed participation.
- Collect player feedback and share it internally to help enhance products, services, and the broader player journey.
- Partner with teams across the business to meet player needs and deliver a smooth experience at every stage.
- Track player behavior and engagement patterns to uncover opportunities for retention, growth, and deeper relationships.
- Follow VIP program policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with responsible gaming rules and standards.
What You Need
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional background.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, hospitality, or a similar client-facing function.
- Proven ability to build rapport, earn trust, and sustain long-term partnerships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consistently customer-focused mindset.
- An analytical approach with the ability to review data, spot trends, and make quick, informed decisions.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, collaborative, and changing environment.
- Solid organizational ability to balance multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel when needed and work evenings, weekends, and other non-standard hours to support player needs.
Additional Information
DraftKings is a publicly traded technology company headquartered in Boston. Because it operates in a regulated gaming environment, employment may require obtaining a gaming license from the relevant state agency. If that applies to this role, the company will support you through the process.
