As a Growth Marketing Associate focused on Paid Social, you will support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through performance-driven social campaigns across DraftKings applications. This position sits at the crossroads of media planning, creative collaboration, and optimization, and it plays a direct role in reaching sports and gaming audiences at scale. You will partner with teams across Marketing, Creative, Analytics, Product, and outside vendors to produce measurable results and help advance the company’s paid social strategy.
What you will do
- Plan and run paid social and media buying initiatives across digital channels to support acquisition and retention objectives.
- Set up, monitor, and improve paid social campaigns using audience targeting, bidding approaches, creative experimentation, and budget management.
- Create and manage A/B tests across creative assets, messaging, audience groups, and campaign structures to generate insights and improve outcomes.
- Work with Creative, Brand, and Integrated Marketing teams to develop fresh ad ideas and deliver engaging campaign experiences.
- Review campaign results and present clear recommendations, insights, and performance summaries to cross-functional partners.
- Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to assess performance trends, understand incremental impact, and shape future campaign planning.
- Oversee the creative production workflow and asset delivery process for important acquisition and retention efforts across paid social platforms.
- Maintain productive relationships with agencies, platform contacts, and advertising partners to stay current on new opportunities and industry best practices.
What you need
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, media buying, paid social, or a similar area.
- Hands-on exposure to managing or supporting campaigns on paid social advertising platforms.
- Understanding of digital media optimization methods such as A/B testing, audience targeting, campaign measurement, and bidding tactics.
- Comfort with data analysis and the ability to turn performance findings into practical recommendations.
- Strong organizational ability, sharp attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for working across internal stakeholders and external partners.
- An interest in sports and gaming is beneficial.
